New Flip Camera

Ron and Barb gave us a Flip Video Camera for Christmas so now we can video Jack all the time. We had a great time in Dubuque and experienced 8 inches of snow! We also went to the Mississippi River Museum where Jack enjoyed playing the water.

One of Jack's first words was "Doggy." Now his first animal sound is "woof woof." He also calls the dogs.

In an effort to let Jack learn important life skills like feeding himself, I'm having to let him be messy. Its very hard because he is so good at making a mess. We usually go straight from bathtime to dinner. He is learning though.

Southern Belle Farm

Today we went to Southern Belle Farm located south of Atlanta. It was fun. We saw farm animals, went on a cow train ride and a hay ride. Jack had a melt-down so we were unable to really check out the pumpkin patch. It was also 80 degrees out and very sunny so I think he'd had enough.

Swinging

You might remember that Jack spent his first 4 months of life in a baby swing 12 hours/day. He loves swinging. Whittier Mill Park just down the street from our house has a great playground with swings. Jack loves the swing there too.
